John Terry will return to the Chelsea line-up for Wednesday's Capital One Cup clash with Walsall.
Blues boss Jose Mourinho has left Terry out of his starting XI for Chelsea's past two outings, but appears set to recall his skipper for Wednesday's fixture against the League One outfit, according to reports from the Daily Mail.
In Terry's absence, Chelsea defeated Maccabi Tel Aviv 4-0 in the Champions League, before notching a 2-0 win over Premier League rivals Arsenal.
Following the win over the Gunners, Mourinho told the press Terry remains his first choice despite the benching.
"He knows the relationship, he knows he's my man," Mourinho said.
"He knows that if I have to choose one out of 25 to be my man, he is the first.
"He knows that I care about him. He knows that nothing is at risk. He knows that my decision was only to help my team win the match."
