Chelsea skipper Terry ready to drop FA appeal
Chelsea skipper John Terry is set to accept his four-match FA ban.
The Daily Mail says Terry is considering ending the fight to clear his name and accept a four-match ban for racially abusing Anton Ferdinand.
Terry remains adamant he has been wronged by the findings of an independent disciplinary commission published last week, which questioned the reliability of evidence from the Chelsea camp.
He strongly believes the FA case should have been dropped after he was found not guilty in a criminal trial in the summer.
However, he has been made aware that it might not reflect well on his club and his profession were he to appeal and drag the case on.
