Chelsea and England captain John Terry is facing a fresh knee injury worry.

The Daily Mail says Terry will be examined today and there are serious concerns that he may not be fit for the crucial game in Moscow on Wednesday.

England boss Steve McClaren has given his players the day off today but Terry is expected to be assessed by Chelsea's medical staff before a decision is made on his fitness.

He has been wearing a protective facemask since breaking a cheekbone in a clash with Fulham striker Clint Dempsey last month and is having pain-killing injections for a broken toe.
