Chelsea skipper John Terry is yet to make a move over his FA appeal.
The Sun says he will not tell the FA if he intends to appeal against his misconduct conviction until at least the middle of next week.
Terry has until Thursday to decide whether to challenge the verdict of the independent commission which ruled he had racially abused QPR's Anton Ferdinand.
It is understood that the Chelsea captain has already made his decision.
But he wants to wait until after England's World Cup qualifier against Poland on Tuesday before announcing his intentions.
Terry faces a four-match ban and £220,000 fine after the commission ruled his defence was "improbable, implausible and contrived".
If he accepts the verdict, his ban will start with the trip to White Hart Lane next Saturday.
