Chelsea captain John Terry is delighted for former teammate Carlton Cole after the West Ham striker's England call-up.
"I grew up with Carlton at Chelsea and he didn't really get enough chances at the club but he's moved on and improved as a player unbelievably," Terry said.
"He's very difficult to play against, great in the air, he's quick, he's strong, he can finish and he's in the form of his life at the moment.
"I spoke to Franco (Gianfranco Zola) about him and he's over the moon with what he's showing at the moment, which is why he deserve his England call-up. If he gets the chance I know he'll be delighted and give his all."
