Chelsea skipper Terry impressed by Arsenal's Adebayor

Chelsea captain John Terry admits he's been impressed by Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor this season.

Ahead of yesterday's defeat at Emirates stadium, Terry said: "I'm not expecting an easy time against him.

"He was the toughest striker I came up against last year in any competition - be it the Premier League, the Champions League or playing for England.

"He was that good, and I know I will have my work cut out. I have played against some of the very best over the years but he gave me as many problems as anyone I can think of.

"He is tall and strong, powerful in the air and on the ground. He's quick and very clever. But the worst thing is, he's totally unpredictable."

And Terry believes Adebayor can only improve.

The England skipper said: "That is the real worry for me and any defender who comes up against him - he has enormous talent but he's just going to get better and better."
