The FA are will consider this morning whether to begin their own investigation into the ugly scenes, says the Daily Mail.

Tensions between Terry and visiting supporters were already boiling point as Hammers fans directed torrid abuse towards the Blues skipper as he warmed up early in the first-half.

In response, Terry mimicked lifting a number of trophies - a reference to the three Premier League titles, five FA Cups, two League Cups and European Cup he has won at Chelsea.
