Chelsea captain John Terry enjoyed his first season with Diego Costa.
Terry insists Costa's on-field persona is totally at odds with his friendly nature away from the action.
But at the same time, he is adamant everybody at Chelsea loves it that way - seeing Costa fighting tooth and nail for Jose Mourinho's champions.
Terry said: "He's a lovely guy really. What you see on the pitch is completely different to what he is like off the pitch.
"Diego is a winner - and he will do anything he can to win.
"I am delighted to have him on out team rather than be against him. He has been phenomenal and when you speak to other central defenders in the Premier League, they all say that he is a right handful."
