Chelsea captain John Terry admits he was knocked out after a clash with Porto's Bruno Alves in last night's 1-0 Champions League win.
Terry was knocked out cold by an elbow from Alves on a night of high anxiety at Stamford Bridge.
But the Chelsea skipper refused to come off after the 10th-minute blow and led the Blues to Euro victory. JT said: "I was out of it for a few seconds but I'm OK now. The most important thing was we won and have started our European campaign well."
Terry was treated on the pitch by club doctor Bryan English, who indicated to the referee his star had been felled by an elbow.
With Didier Drogba suspended, Nicolas Anelka struck in the 48th minute to seal the Group D points in a rain-lashed clash.
JT added: "It was great Nico has stepped up without Didier alongside him and he took his goal well."
