Chelsea skipper John Terry admits he wanted to swim with sharks last year.

Terry's enthusiasm to enjoy extreme sports such as "bungee jumping, parachuting, jumping out of an aeroplane, even skiing" will have to wait until he has finished his playing career.

"But Joe [Cole] and I did want to go into a shark cage in South Africa last season and were stopped by [Franco] Baldini," said the captain. "He said it probably wouldn't be the best idea."
