Chelsea skipper Terry a doubt for West Ham opener

Chelsea are concerned that John Terry is in doubt for their Premier League season opener against West Ham United.

The Blues captain received a heavy knock to the head in Sunday's 4-2 friendly win over Werder Bremen which reportedly has him under a cloud for next Monday's home clash with the Hammers.

Antonio Conte already has Kurt Zouma sidelined and with Terry potentially out for the Stamford Bridge fixture, the Italian could be forced to play Michael Hector in central defence alongside Gary Cahill.

Other options, if Terry happens to miss, could be young American Matt Miazga or teenage full-back Ola Aina, who replaced Cesar Azpilicueta in the second half of the win over Bremen.
