Chelsea striker Danny Sturridge wants to follow the example of Arsenal whiz Theo Walcott and win a place in England's World Cup squad.

Sturridge said: "I have a lot of respect for Theo and, hopefully, if I do well enough I can get myself involved.

"If I don't make the next World Cup, then I will try to make sure I'm there for the next one and the one after that. I would love to help my country win it."
