Imminent Chelsea signing Filipe Luis admits it was difficult informing Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone he wanted to leave.
Luis is due to complete his move to Stamford Bridge today.
On Simeone, the Brazilian said: "He's more than a coach, he is someone very close, like a father. I sat with him and told him how I felt. It hurts me to leave, but he has managed to understand I want something that was stuck in my head and I did not want to backtrack.
"I only have words of affection because this week I have had one more coaching session with him and I thank him for all he's done for me."
