Chelsea signing De Bruyne: All my family are Liverpool mad!

Kevin De Bruyne has a shock for his new Chelsea fans.

De Bruyne admits his family are a bunch of Liverpool fans.

The Belgian left-winger, 20, signed from Genk for £6.7m, said: "I have always followed the Premier League because my mother is half English. We probably followed it more than Belgian football and, when I was young, we liked Liverpool."

De Bruyne immediately heads back to Genk on loan for the rest of the season.

He added: "To come to a team like Chelsea is a dream."
