Chelsea management are delighted with their capture of Danish teen Andreas Christensen.

Christensen agreed a move to Chelsea late, last season.

Blues academy assistant coach Jim Fraser told chelseafc.com: "Andreas has been at Brondby for the past eight years. Ourselves and many other clubs were looking to sign him, and we worked hard to bring him here. He is a tall ball-playing centre-back, much like Ricardo Carvalho, and we are excited to see how he develops in our programme. His father is a former professional goalkeeper."
