Guy Hillion, Chelsea's France-based scout, has revealed the club have signed a 12-year-old from ASPTT Marseille. Jeremy Boga has opted to cross the Channel in order to hone his talents at Stamford Bridge, according to Setanta.
Boga's father has been living in London for two years for professional reasons and this has had a bearing on his son's move.
"That is not a transfer, as the rules forbid it," Hillion told Les Dessous du Sport. "We couldn't have signed Jeremy if Mr Boga hadn't been in London.
"Chelsea took him because he has the talent to play at the highest level. He's an excellent number 10."
The French club are far from happy with the situation.
"We have had no news from the Boga family neither from Chelsea, this happened behind our back," an ASPTT Marseille director declared.
