Chelsea shot-stopper Courtois on the mend

Thibaut Courtois is inching closer to returning to the Chelsea lineup as he continues to make good progress in his recovery from a knee injury.

Courtois damaged knee ligaments during training in September and hasn't appeared for Chelsea since August.

The 23-year-old is expected to return in December and appears to be making good progress. Courtois shared footage of him running at the Chelsea training centre on his Instagram account with the comment : "Happy to be running again."

Courtois also confirmed this speaking earlier this month saying: "In terms of my knee, it is good. I am doing my rehabilitation and it is progressing fine."

"I will be [now] starting the bulk of the work with my physio to come back as soon as possible. Of course I still have to be careful not to go too quickly, but all being well, I should be back in December."
