Chelsea will make a move for Wesley Sneijder when the January transfer window opens.

Reports from Turkish publication Fanatik suggest that Jose Mourinho is prepared to meet Galatasaray's release clause for the 31-year-old Dutch midfielder.

Sneijder, who is contracted with the Istanbul giants until the summer of 2018, had a successful spell under Mourinho at Inter Milan when the pair combined to deliver a rare treble to the Italian club.

It is believed that the former Ajax and Real Madrid star will cost the reigning Premier League champions around £14million.
