Chelsea are looking to conclude a £17.7million deal for Augsburg's Baba Rahman this week.

Standard Sport understands the Blues resumed talks with the Bundesliga club during the weekend over the 21 year old left-back.

The Ghana international has already agreed personal terms with Chelsea but the two clubs have been struggling to agree a fee.

The Blues were only prepared to pay up to £14m, despite the German club demanding in excess of £20m.
