Chelsea are ready to cut short the AC Milan loan of Marco van Ginkel.

The Sunday Mirror says the 22-year-old wants to cut short his season-long loan spell in Italy and head back to Chelsea early.

Chelsea had sent the Dutchman out to regain his sharpness after a long spell out with a serious knee injury.

Chelsea want to move him on elsewhere as they prepare to circle his name to clubs.
