England Under-21 midfielder Josh McEachran has signed for Championship side Middlesbrough from Chelsea on a season-long loan deal, reports BBC Sport. The 19-year-old made his Chelsea debut in 2010 and went on to win the Blues' young player of the year award.
Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo said: "He's a great talent [but] his career's somehow stalled a bit.
"It's part of a player's development that you have ups and downs and you learn all the time."
The Italian continued: "The best solution is to get in that rhythm of playing every week and get back to where he was when he broke into the first team."
