Chelsea are reviving their bid for Ajax fullback Gregory van der Wiel.

After months of negotiations, Valencia sports chief sporting director Braulio Vazquez has admitted a deal is off for the Dutchman.

Chelsea are now expected to step in for Van der Wiel, who is viewed as a replacement for Jose Bosingwa.
