Chelsea see Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski as an ideal replacement for Didier Drogba.
The Mail on Sunday says Chelsea are desperate to sign another class striker to provide competition for Fernando Torres and have Lewandowski top of their wishlist.
But they face stiff competition from Manchester United for the young Pole.
