Atletico Madrid centre-back Diego Godin is on the radar of Chelsea.
AS says Chelsea are mulling over the idea of replacing John Terry with Godin.
The out-going Blues captain revealed last month his contract at Stamford Bridge would not be extended beyond the end of this season, bringing an end to his 18-year association with the club.
Godin, meanwhile, has become one of Europe's most revered defenders under the tutelage of Atleti boss Diego Simeone.
The 29-year-old is under contract at the Vicente Calderon until 2018, but that hasn't stopped speculation linking him with a move to the Premier League champions.
