Chelsea scout Guy Hillion admits English clubs take longer in the recruiting process to sign a player.
Hillion was instrumental in Chelsea signing Eden Hazard from Lille last year.
He revealed: "Like everyone else, they want talent. There is no specific research on big guys or athletic players. But the English clubs take longer before hiring someone. They like to see and review. This is the difference with the French clubs.
"I had to see Eden Hazard at least fifteen times in four or five years before he joined Chelsea.
"The English want to know everything about the player, his game, his life outside of football, his family.
"In France, we decided faster."
