Chelsea's West Ham loanee Benayoun embarrassed by racist chants

Yossi Benayoun admits he was embarrassed to hear West Ham United fans use anti-semitic chants on the weekend.

Some sections of the Hammers crowd used offensive and racial abuse towards Tottenham at White Hart Lane during Spurs' 3-1 victory and the Israeli international, who I on loan from Chelsea, was disappointed by the actions of the travelling supporters.

"I have a great relationship with the West Ham United supporters, from my first spell at the club and again now I am back on loan here," Benayoun posted on Twitter.

"This why I was very disappointed to hear some of the songs and it was embarrassing."
