John Terry is likely to play in England's 2014 World Cup qualifying double-header which begins at the end of this week.
The Three Lions take on Moldova in Chisinau on Friday before hosting Ukraine on Tuesday and Terry should be available after training fully with the squad on Monday afternoon.
Terry missed the Blues' last two matches with a neck injury but got through a full session at London's Colney training ground and will be considered for the first two Group H fixtures.
Terry's Chelsea teammate Ashley Cole has been ruled out after he injured his ankle during the 4-1 UEFA Super Cup loss to Atletico Madrid on Friday.
