Chelsea's Pizarro faces two-year ban from the game

Current Werder Bremen striker Claudio Pizarro faces a two-year ban from the game.

On loan to the German Bundesliga club from Chelsea, the Peruvian is under investigation for his involvement in getting countryman Roberto Silva a deal at the Bremen.

Pizarro faces up to 24 months out of the game if found of guilty of being a player acting as an agent in 2001 in his first stint at Bremen.

"It is a load of rubbish," said Pizarro.

"The whole thing does not bother me on the pitch at all.

"Peru is a great, beautiful country, but unfortunately there are people there who are angry. They don't like it when somebody is successful so they get jealous.

"This has been going on for four years."
