Chelsea's Oscar opted against team bus

Chelsea midfielder Oscar told club officials that he would not need the team bus to get from Fulham back to Stamford Bridge on the weekend.

The Brazil international opted against the ride back across SW6 after the Blues beat the Cottagers 3-1 at Craven Cottage on Saturday courtesy of a hat-trick from Andre Schurrle.

22-year old Oscar walked from the Cottage to his apartment as it was a much quicker option that getting on the bus to head back to the Bridge.

Sky Sports commentator Andy Burton tweeted the following:

Oscar played 78 minutes of the win over Fulham which has Chelsea sitting on top of the Premier League table, four points clear of second-placed Liverpool and third-placed Arsenal.
