Chelsea's Mourinho not going to Man City for a draw

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho insists his side is going to Manchester City on Monday night with only a win in mind.

The Blues take on a formidable City side at the Etihad Stadium in a match which could see them draw level on points with the 2011 Premier League champions, who are currently sitting second behind Arsenal.

Mourinho is aware that Manuel Pellegrini's team has won all 11 home matches in the league this season, averaging just under four goals a game, but has made it clear that he is not targeting a draw at Eastlands.

"We are going to try to win knowing perfectly we can lose or draw. Our intention is to try to win," he said.

"City score goals. Normally, when your approach is very defensive, if you concede a goal you are in trouble.

"Or you have to make changes during the game and you never know how the players adapt to it."
