Chelsea's Mikel aware of Galatasaray dangers
The Blues have been drawn against the Turkish giants in the first knockout phase which will see former southwest London ace Didier Drogba up against his beloved former club.
Mikel is acutely aware of the damage the Ivory Coast striker can do, in addition to the supreme talents of Dutch midfielder Wesley Sneijder, prompting him to suggest that Roberto Mancini's Galatasaray side will be a tough prospect.
"They are a great team," Mikel told Chelsea's official website.
"Didier, Wesley - they have a good team and obviously they have Roberto Mancini who is trying to implement his philosophy and change the way they play.
"It will be tough but it's a game we're looking forward to. It will be good to meet old rivals, who you have played against in the past, as well as old team-mates."
Chelsea head to Istanbul for the first leg on February 26 before they return to Stamford Bridge for the second bout on March 18.
