In-form Chelsea forward Florent Malouda admits all the hard work he has put in since joining the club in 2007 is beginning to pay off.
The 30-year old Frenchman has begun the new season in electric form with four goals in three games and feels he is performing at his best but insists he has the team's interest at the forefront.
"I am getting the result of the hard work I did from the first day I signed for Chelsea," he said.
"Maybe now people get to know me and they notice more of what I do.
"I am building my confidence, trying to show game after game my quality.
"But you have to stay calm and we shall see at the end of the season.
"The most important thing for me was to win the Premier League last year and now that I am champion, I want to stay a champion."
