Romelu Lukaku has played down claims that he is unhappy with his loan move from Chelsea to Everton.
The 20-year old Belgian striker had apparently been looking forward to testing himself under Jose Mourinho at Stamford Bridge this season but was loaned to the Toffees on deadline day.
Reports emerged that Lukaku was desperately unhappy with the situation but he told reporters that he was thrilled to have made the season-long move.
"I'm very glad [to have joined Everton]," Lukaku said. "I read that some said that I was not happy, but I am very happy.
"This is a club that can bring me a lot, that I can bring a lot to. I still hope to grow and do a good job with this team."
He added: "I think at my age it is important to play a lot. I have a good relationship with the coach of Chelsea. Now I hope to have good results."
