Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard's hernia operation has become more of a problem with news that he is set to miss a further fortnight. The England international underwent surgery following the August 28 clash with Stoke City and has not played since.
He was expected to return shortly but a groin strain will keep him out of this weekend's trip to Aston Villa before the midweek Champions League clash with Spartak Moscow in Russia and the home fixture with Wolves the following week.
