Chelsea youngster Gael Kakuta is on the verge of a loan move to Fulham.
The 19-year old winger needs to develop further in more of a first team environment and Blues management are keen to get him to another Premier League for that to occur.
"We are thinking about if it's good for a young player to have experience on loan for six months," said boss Carlo Ancelotti.
Kakuta had a medical at Fulham on Tuesday and the deal is expected to go through at some stage on Wednesday.
