West Ham United co-owner David Sullivan has confirmed that Chelsea midfielder Joe Cole has turned down the chance to rejoin the club.
The Hammers have shown interest in having the 28-year old England international back at Upton Park but Sullivan said that although the club told him to name a price, he declined the offer.
He did, however, admit that the West Ham had plans to bring in some new names this summer.
"We've asked Joe to name a price but he said no," Sullivan told the Daily Mail.
"We're fishing high and wide and we'll land a few. We're probably looking at 50 players and we might sign four or five. A lot depends on who goes."
