Fulham loanee Lucas Piazon has been ruled out for two months following jaw surgery.
Piazon fractured his jaw after fouling Cardiff City winger Kadeem Harris during Fulham's 2-2 draw against the Bluebirds in Wales on the weekend and the Brazilian had to be forced off immediately following the injury.
Piazon has now undergone successful surgery and Fulham have confirmed that the 23-year-old Chelsea loanee will be ruled out for at least the next two months as he begins his rehabilitation process.
The statement read: "Following an injury sustained in the first half of our 2-2 draw with Cardiff City, the club can confirm that Lucas Piazon underwent surgery on his jaw on Saturday evening.
"A rehabilitation period of approximately two months is expected. Further information will be [released] in due course."
