Chelsea midfielder Joe Cole was delighted to have made a successful return to the pitch for his beloved Blues.
The England international made his first appearance in eight months in the 1-0 Carling Cup win over QPR on Wednesday night following a serious knee injury and even managed to set up the winner for Salomon Kalou.
"I'm back now and it's blinding," Cole said.
"But I'm not going to get ahead of myself. There is going to be a lot of ups and downs. All I can do is keep working hard in training."
