Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has poured cold water over suggestions Lionel Messi could soon be joining him in west London.
The pair were seen dining together at Harrods recently, suggesting that perhaps Fabregas may be trying to lure his former Barcelona teammate to Stamford Bridge.
A photo was leaked of Fabregas and Messi sitting together at the famous store in Knightsbridge in south-west London along with ex-Blues ace Deco and Messi's partner Antonella Rocuzzo.
However, Fabregas merely insisted it was friends getting together as they have the right to do.
"Listen," said to reporters. "This is my private life and I do what makes me feel happy and for my family.
"I have nothing to say about any picture with any person that is away from football. So nothing to say about that."
