Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has confirmed the club will not heavily pursue Chelsea striker Didier Drogba.
Reports suggest the Nerazzurri had met with Drogba this week but Moratti has insisted the club are not moving mountains to obtain the services of the Ivorian.
"I didn't even know about [Marco] Branca's trip to London and I too will endeavour to have it explained to me what it was all about," Moratti told Sky Italia.
"I think that it is the player who wants to join us more than anything. We do not need strikers and in fact have a few too many, all of them very strong.
"Besides, Mourinho has never asked me for any new signings."
