Chelsea defender Ashley Cole is expected to escape any police punishment following an incident involving an air rifle and a work placement student.
The England left-back shot an air gun at 21-year old sports science student Tom Cowan at Chelsea's training ground a few weeks ago and could have landed himself in hot water with his actions but it is highly unlikely that police will take action against Cole.
Surrey Police received no official complaint regarding the incident so will take no further action whilst the Blues have already sanctioned Cole.
