Chelsea defender Ashley Cole admits he has made mistakes in his life but wants people to judge him on his performances on the pitch. The 30-year old left-back has been in the headlines throughout his career and knows that at times he has erred but feels that people outside the club have been too quick to cast judgment on him.
"Judge me on how I play football or on when you meet me," he told BBC Sport.
"I've made mistakes and have just got to live with it.
"But at the end of the day I just want to play football, I'm here to play football.
"I just wish people would judge me more on football and speak about football more than a life that people don't really know."
