Goalkeeper Petr Cech is well aware that a club such as Chelsea is bound to significantly come under the microscope from the media.
A few weeks back there were reports of unrest when manager Andre Villas-Boas called the players to the club on a Sunday for an apparent crisis meeting on the back of a few poor results.
But Cech has denied those claims and says a lot of the focus being placed on the Blues has come straight from the press.
"The truth is elsewhere and the picture of that meeting was misrepresented.
"Chelsea has been under huge pressure from the media and if we are not doing well then the pressure mounts.
"The media uses that to form some nonsense theory or speculation, and we have to live with that.""Everyone has been talking about a meeting between the team and (owner Roman) Abramovich," he told isport.blesk.cz.
