Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech is being loosely linked with MLS expansion franchise Vancouver Whitecaps.

The Czech gloveman reportedly told Daily Star writer Ben Fairthorne that "I will play in MLS within 2 years" and the Whitecaps have been the team that has been linked.

Cech has been number one at Chelsea in the past few seasons after joining from French club Rennes in 2004.

He would me a major coup for both Major League Soccer and the Whitecaps if he were to make his way to North America.
