Chelsea boss Rafael Benitez has made it clear that he is not seeking a return as manager to Liverpool.
The Spaniard said on Tuesday that he would one day return to Liverpool with many reporting that he was eager to again manage the Anfield club after his successful rein there between 2004 and 2010.
But ahead of Chelsea's Europa League quarter-final second leg with Rubin Kazan in Russia on Thursday night, Benitez made it clear he was only talking about returning to the city where his family lives and not to his former club.
"I have my family in Liverpool so that is my home and I will come back to Liverpool any time," he said.
"Just to clarify: I'm talking about my home, where my family is, not the team.
"I am the Chelsea manager and I will go back next week because we have to play against Liverpool (April 21)."
