Chelsea midfielder Yossi Benayoun is in discussions with Arsenal regarding a loan deal.
The Israel international is almost certain to leave Stamford Bridge ahead of tonight's transfer deadline and it appears as though a season-long loan at Arsenal is the most likely scenario.
It was earlier revealed that the Gunners were set to make an offer for Everton's Mikel Arteta but after a potential deal broke down they have turned their attentions to Benayoun.
