Chelsea's attacking display delights Mourinho

Jose Mourinho was over the moon with the way his Chelsea side performed in their 2-0 win over West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.

The Blues extended their lead at the top of the Premier League table to seven points thanks to first-half goals from Diego Costa and Eden Hazard, prior to Claudio Yacob's sending off for the visitors, and it was the manner of the victory that really pleased the boss.

Chelsea produced eight shots on target, forcing Baggies keeper Ben Foster into a number of vital saves, and completely dominated the Baggies at Stamford Bridge which resonated well with Mourinho.

"I think the first half was fantastic," Mourinho told Sky Sports.

"The first half was really spectacular football, high quality football we made the pitch really wide with wide people, we create spaces to play we were really dangerous and they couldn't stop us because we were really good.

"I think the result at half-time should and could be a very different result than 2-0."
