Chelsea won't be reviving their bid for Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard.
The Observer says despite Gerrard being unsettled at Anfield, sources at Chelsea confirmed that the club would not try to sign the midfielder after two previous attempts - in the summers of 2004 and 2005 - were unsuccessful.
