Chelsea has announced a "groundbreaking" partnership with the Sauber Formula One team, reports SportsPro. As a result, Chelsea logos will feature on Sauber's cars from the next Grand Prix, in Spain on 13th May, while Sauber logos will be positioned on perimeter boards at Stamford Bridge.
It was not immediately clear what monetary value the deal has. However the Blues Russian billionaire owner Roman Abramovich has often been tipped as a potential investor in Formula One and his homeland will stage its first Grand Prix next season.
Timing-wise, it coincides with the club's appearance in the Uefa Champions League final on 19th May.
