Chelsea reserve team coach Brendan Rodgers could be named new Watford manager today.
The Daily Mail says Rodgers, 35, was appointed by Jose Mourinho in 2006 and has become hugely popular among the players at Stamford Bridge, prompting Watford to approach him a fortnight ago on November 11.
Now he has agreed a deal to succeed Aidy Boothroyd and intends to take Frank Lampard senior - former No 2 to Harry Redknapp at West Ham - with him to Vicarage Road.
